This is a follow up email regarding the stolen vehicle that was recovered earlier today on State Route 69 in the Town of Annsville.

According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, an arrest has been made following the check the welfare on State Route 69 in Annsville earlier this afternoon. Edward Michik (33) of Lee was arrested for Grand Larceny 3rd, a class D Felony, after stealing a 2019 GMC Acadia out of a driveway on State Route 26 in the Town of Lee earlier today. Michik was brought back to the Law Enforcement Building where he was booked and then brought to ONeida County Jail to await arraignment. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Taberg Fire Department, AmCare Ambulance, and the Criminal Investigation Unit.
