According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Waterville man sustained injuries in a one car motor vehicle accident on Beaver Creek Rd in the Town of Sangerfield.

As investigated and reported by Deputy B. Warcup, John Brady, 42, was traveling south on Beaver Creek Rd, when his vehicle left the westerly shoulder of the roadway and struck a guide rail. Brady's vehicle continued off the roadway where it struck a tree before coming to rest in a creek. Brady had to be extricated from the vehicle by members of the Waterville Fire Departmentt before care was transferred to members of Central Oneida County Ambulance, who transported Brady to St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Brady suffered injuries to his neck, back and elbow.

Also assisting at the scene were the NYSP and NYS DEC for a minor fluid leak into the creek.

The investigation is continuing.
