According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Waterville man was charged after a Domestic Incident in the Village of Waterville.

On Saturday, January 15, 2022, Jared McCoach 31, of Waterville was charged with 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child Less than 17 (Class A misdemeanor) and one count of Harassment in the Second Degree (Violation) after it was alleged that on January 15, 2022, while caring for two children at a residence on Stafford Ave in the Village of Waterville, McCoach aggressively disciplined one child, while in the presence of a second child.

McCoach was booked and is currently being held pending arraignment in Oneida County CAP Court.
