According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Westmoreland woman sustained minor injuries due to involvement in a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Skinner Road in the Town of Westmoreland just before 7:00 AM today.

LeeAnn Light, 60, of Westmoreland was westbound on Skinner Road when she lost control of her SUV and struck a pickup being operated by Larry A. O'Grady, 59, of Westmoreland that was stuck in a driveway and partially in the roadway. Light was transported by private vehicle to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Light was cited for failure to reduce speed for special conditions and hazards and issued a traffic summons returnable to Westmoreland Town Court on an upcoming date.

O'Grady was cited for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and was also issued a traffic summons returnable to Westmoreland Town Court.

Westmoreland Fire and Vineall ambulance assisted at the scene.
