According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on 2/9/2022, at approximately 7:00 am, an adult male sustained minor injuries after a personal injury motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of State Route 13 and State Route 49, in the Town of Vienna.

Dustin Burnup, of Camden, was driving a 2004 Chevy Suburban, traveling southbound on State Route 13, in the Town of Vienna, when he failed to yield the right of way, by making a left turn into oncoming traffic, causing Dustin's vehicle to strike another vehicle. Russ Bailey, 77, of Camden, suffered minor injuries to the chest due to airbag deployment. Russ was evaluated on scene and was not transported. Dustin was cited for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection.

The Oneida County Sheriffs Office was assisted on scene by the Town of Vienna Fire Department, North Bay Fire Department, and Amcare Ambulance.
