According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol a Waterville woman was arrested on today’s date.

Tiffany Walsh, 39 of Waterville was arrested for Forgery 2nd, and Criminal Possession of a Forged instrument 2nd, both Class D Felonies. The Sheriff’s Office road patrol took the initial complaint on January 11th that someone had attempted to cash a check at a bank in New Hartford without the account holder's consent. The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Unit and after the investigation, they were able to locate and arrest Walsh without incident.

Walsh was transported to the Oneida County Jail CAP Court to await arraignment.
