Today, members of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office participated in the 11th annual “Walk a Mile in my Shoes Event.”

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office has participated in this event annually, and this year’s Virtual Edition is no different. The purpose of this one mile walk is to benefit the Rescue Mission of Utica and to “Help raise awareness of Homelessness & Hunger.”

Officer Morgan was proud to present the Sheriff’s Office donation that was provided by the Oneida County Sheriff's Law Enforcement Foundation, to Utica Rescue Mission’s Director of Operations, Ernie Talerico.
