According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, there is a police presence in the Village of Sylvan Beach on Main St between 17th and 19th Ave.

The Sheriff's Office is out in the area assisting Sylvan Beach Fire Department with a structure fire. Main St and Park Ave are closed from 17th Ave to 19th Ave.
