Sixteen years ago, Town of New Hartford Police Officer Joseph Corr was killed in the line of duty, and not a day goes by that our county’s law enforcement agencies and our entire community doesn't reflect on the sacrifice he made.

This morning, members of the Sheriff’s Office attended a memorial service in his honor at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica.

Officer Corr's service and dedication will always be remembered and we will forever mourn his loss and support his family.
