Tonight, Sheriff Maciol and Sergeant Morgan attended the Vernon Verona Sherrill School District’s board meeting to recognize bus driver, Ian Kraeger.

On January 24, 2022, Mr. Kraeger prevented a tragedy as he stopped a 13 year old student from exiting the bus, as a vehicle illegally passed the stopped School Bus on the right hand side.

Transportation Supervisor Mr. Michael Peck, and Assistant Transportation Supervisor Mr. Brad Boyson accepted the Sheriff's recognition plaque on Mr. Kraeger’s behalf.
