According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, there is currently a Police and Fire presence in the Village of Oriskany Falls.

Members of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office are currently assisting with a structure fire on Main Street in Oriskany Falls. The call came into the Oneida County 911 Center around 7:00AM. Oriskany Falls Fire Department along with Deansboro FD, Clayville FD, Madison FD, and Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance all responded to the scene for a fully involved house fire. At this time all the residents are out of the house. Two members of the residence an adult and juvenile child were transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.

Main Street between College Street and Route 26 is currently closed and will be for some time.
