According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, the Sheriff's Office is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Stewart's Shop located at 336 State Route 8 in the Town of Bridgewater.

This occurred this morning at approximately 5:16 am. The suspect is described as a male dressed in all black with a ski mask who had what appeared to be a handgun. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot.
