According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on April 16th, 2022 at or around 11:50 pm, Road Patrol Deputies investigated an ATV accident located on Streun Road in the Town of Lee.

Upon arrival, Jacen K. Fort, 44, of Lee, NY, was being treated by the Lee Center Fire Department Rescue along with AmCare Ambulance for injuries he sustained during the ATV accident. Fort was transported by AmCare Ambulance to St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation determined that Jacen K. Fort was operating a 2020 Polaris ATV, traveling in an easterly direction on Streun Road. Fort attempted to make a left turn off of Streun Road into a driveway at an unsafe speed, causing the ATV to flip over multiple times where Fort was ejected and sustained injuries to his chest and back. No tickets have been issued at this time, pending further investigation.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lee Center Fire Department as well as AmCare Ambulance.
