According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica woman was arrested after she was involved in a domestic incident, which occurred at the Oneida County Office Building, 800 Park Ave, in the City of Utica.

On April 18th, 2022 at approximately 3:25pm, while on foot patrol at the Oneida County Office Building, Deputies discovered a female juvenile (2) and a male juvenile (5) in the back seat of a vehicle, with the ignition running, the rear windows opened and without any adult supervision present. Upon completion of an investigation, Deputies determined that the children were unsupervised for extended period of time and completely unaware of their parent or guardians location. Deputies soon located the children's mother, later to be identified as Dayna D. Colbert (23). Dayna was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Endangering The Welfare of A Child, two Class A Misdemeanors. Dayna was transported to the Oneida County Jail, awaiting Centralized Arraignment.
