Today, Sergeant Morgan attended the New York State Sheriffs' Institute’s 15th Annual Conference on Victim Notification.

Sheriff’s office members and Victim Advocates from across New York State including YWCA Mohawk Valley advocates Melissa B and Emily R. attended. Topics covered included NYSSI Victim Notification Services Inmate Release Program (VINE), Order of Protection Notification, Stalking, and Domestic Violence.

This training event coincides with National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
