Floyd Man Arrest following Domestic Dispute

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Deputies were called to Asher Drive in the Town of Floyd for a dispute complaint on May 9, 2022, at about 6:30 AM. The female on scene was transported to the Hospital for injuries that were sustained during the dispute. Through investigation, it was learned that the female was the victim of assault, and had been choked to the point of being unconscious during the altercation.

Joshua M. Williams, 28, of Holland Patent, was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Obstruction of breathing in the second degree, a class D felony, and Assault in the third degree, a class M misdemeanor. Williams was transported to Oneida County CAP Court and is currently awaiting arraignment on the listed charges. An Order of Protection has been requested on behalf of the victim.
