The Sheriff’s Office was honored to participate in today’s Oneida County World Elder Abuse Awareness Day event.

Those in attendance were provided with vital information on how to protect themselves from scams, fraud, and identity theft.

Today’s event was organized by Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente and the Oneida County Office for the Aging & Continuing Care and it was held at “50 Forward Mohawk Valley” in Verona Beach.
