Last week, 12 Oneida County law enforcement members completed their week-long training at MVCC to become Crisis Intervention Team members.

This joint effort between the Oneida County Mental Health Department, the Utica Police Department, and the Mobile Crisis Intervention Team provides much-needed mental health training to our local police agencies.

Congratulations to the graduates and good luck to the next round of trainees this fall. Thank you to Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr for seeing to it that Oneida County leads the way in this crucial component of law enforcement.
