Forestport Man Arrested for Burglary

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Forestport man was arrested for Burglary by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Unit.

Michael M. Odonnell, 34, of Woodgate was arrested after he entered a residence on White Lake at approximately 1:30 AM on July 3, 2022, as the homeowners were asleep inside. Odonnell removed several items from the residence, but his image was captured by the Video Security Camera of the residence, and he was later identified. Odonnell was charged with Burglary in the second degree, a class C felony. Odonnell was arraigned in CAP Court, where he was released on his own recognizance, and is scheduled to appear in Forestport Town Court on August 2, 2022.

An order of protection was issued by the court for Odonnell to stay away from the victim and his residence.
