According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Town of Whitestown man was arrested after two separate incidents in the City of Rome.

At approximately 7:00 on July 13, 2022, the Rome Police Department was dispatched to Rome Labs located on the grounds of Griffiss Business and Technology Park regarding a male that arrived on scene and began making threats to kill employees. After the threats were made, the male suspect left the scene in a green Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Wolak was then transported to the Sheriff’s Office for questioning and the case was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit. The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit also filed charges against Wolak for Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, an E Felony, stemming from an incident that was reported on May 31, 2022, in the Town of Verona.
