Earlier today, Jeffrey and Diane Ammerman stopped for a visit to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office as they were visiting the area from out of state.

Jeffrey’s mother Barbara Ammerman was an employee at the Sheriff’s Office in the late ’50s and early ’60s. Earlier this summer Jeffrey had written a letter to Sheriff Maciol, the letter included stories and memories of Barbara’s employment.

Sheriff Maciol presented the Ammerman’s a shirt, coin, and a pin for Barbara. We hope these items remind you of all the good times you had at the Sheriff’s Office!
