According to the Oneida County Sheriff, Rob Maciol, on August 17th, 2022 at around 715AM, Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Camroden Rd in the Town of Western for an abandoned call.

When Deputies arrived, it was determined that a physical domestic had occurred. While investigating the incident, it was alleged that Paul Calderon (30) of Western engaged in a physical altercation with the victim. Another family member that was on scene then attempted to call 911 for assistance but Calderon unplugged the main power source to the phone, not allowing the phone call to go through.

Calderon was charged with one count of harassment, a Violation, and Criminal Mischief 4th, a class A Misdemeanor. Calderon was processed and held at the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.
