According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on October 1, 2022, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the Inlet Police Department teamed up to offer a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Hunter Safety Class.

Sheriff’s Investigator Mark Chrysler and Inlet Police Sergeant Toby Lindfield held the class at the Inlet Fire Department in Inlet NY, Hamilton County.

A total of 14 students, both youths and adults, passed the class and will be new, ethical and responsible future hunters.

Both agencies would like to thank the Inlet Fire Department and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation for their help in making this class a success.
