According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, on Friday the 30th of September at approximately 3:20 pm the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of a reported threat made by a Madison High School student on a school bus from the Madison Oneida BOCES located at 4937 Spring Rd. in the Town of Verona.

The Threat was investigated and was found not to be credible. The Juvenile was arrested for making a threat of mass harm and referred to Oneida County Juvenile Probation on a later date. Due to the juvenile’s age, no identifying information will be provided.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police.
