According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, a 39 year old man was injured in a two car accident on Trenton Rd in the Town of Marcy.

On October 13, 2022 at about 7:09 PM, Mitchell Clark age 39 from the Town of Remsen, was operating a 2013 Dodge Pickup truck in a south easterly direction, on Trenton Rd in the Town of Marcy. Clark lost control of his vehicle, crossed the double yellow line and collided with an oncoming 2014 Jeep, operated by David Hooker, age 39 from the Town of Trenton. The collision caused Clark's vehicle to roll over, and land on it's roof. The impact further caused Hooker's vehicle to spin and come to rest on a guiderail. David Hooker was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital by Kunkel Ambulance for an evaluation.

Clark was issued traffic summons returnable to the Town of Marcy Court at a later date.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Maynard Fire Department and Kunkel Ambulance.

David Hooker also had his dog, a 9 month old Bernadoodle, named "Chunk Norris" in his vehicle. (Photo attached) The dog fled the scene after the collision.
