Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick O’Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, announces the arrest of Quinton Faison, age 35 of the City of Utica.

Faison, who is a NYS Level 2 Registered Sex Offender, was arrested by OCSO Sergeant Melissa Bolton on 11/2/2022, for failing to meet his obligations as a registered sex offender under the Sex Offender Registry Act (SORA). Under SORA, registered sex offenders are required to notify the Division of Criminal Justice Services(DCJS) of any change of address within ten days of their move. As a result of the investigation conducted by Sgt. Bolton, it was found that Faison had been residing at an address in the City of Utica and had failed to provide his new address to DCJS within the required time frame.

Faison’s last registered address with DCJS had been in the Town of Whitestown.

Faison was charged with one count of Failure to Register Change of Address, a Class E felony under the NYS Corrections Law. Faison will appear in Whitestown Court for arraignment at a later date.
