According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol Road patrol deputies responded to a 2 car MVA on Route 31 at Kelly Ave in the Town of Verona around 5:30 PM.

The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene. The details of the crash and the names will be released after notifications to the family have been made.

The crash is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Unit, Forensic ID Unit, and the Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol. Members of the Sheriff’s Office accident reconstruction unit were on scene as well.
