Earlier today, Sheriff Maciol and Undersheriff Lisi presented Deputy Brian Warcup with his retirement plaque and statue after 36 years of dedicated service with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Warcup first joined the Sheriff’s Office in 1986 assigned to the Corrections Division.

In 1989, Deputy Warcup transferred to the Law Enforcement Division where he served until his retirement.

Over his 36 years of service, Deputy Warcup received numerous commendations including: the Grand Cordon (3 times), the Exceptional Service Award (2 times), the Good Conduct award, the Meritorious Service award, and the Ready Commendation award. He also received many, many thank you letters from those throughout his career that he helped out in various ways.

We thank Brian for his service and we wish him good health and happiness in his retirement
