Earlier this week Lieutenant Phair and Sergeant Morgan attended Mrs. Farney and Mr. Nelson’s Oneida County 4-H Youth Development, New York Government Class at the Oneida County Office Building.

The students from the Vernon Verona Sherill, Rome City, Whitesboro, and Sauquoit School Districts, are tasked with creating Mock Legislation to be presented later in the School Year.

Topics that were covered included Gun Legislation and Crime Statistics, Raise the Age, Bail reform, and the HALT Act.
