According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; A Barneveld man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic that occurred in the Town of Floyd.

As investigated and reported by Investigator Edward F. Constantine, on December 16, 2022, Michael G. Newland, 56, was arrested on charges related to a domestic incident that occurred on December 13, 2022.

Upon completion of the investigation, Newland was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd, a class A Misdemeanor, and Stalking 4th, a class B misdemeanor.

Newland was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing and held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
