According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, A Utica woman was injured following a single vehicle crash on St. Rt. 12 in the Town of Paris.

Deputies responded to the incident around 11:00AM on February 25th. Investigation into the incident determined the driver was operating a blue Toyota SUV northbound on St. Rt. 12 near the intersection of Burmaster Rd. The driver lost control of the vehicle due to the slippery road conditions and crossed into the southbound lane, subsequently exiting the western shoulder and striking a ditch causing the vehicle to overturn. The driver was assisted by a passerby in getting removed from the vehicle. The driver complained of pain and was transported to St. Elizabeth's hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Paris Hill Fire Department, Edwards Ambulance, New York State Police, and Clinton Collision.
