Boonville Man Arrested For Damage to Barber Pole

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Boonville Man was arrested after a two week investigation into damage to a barber pole at 118 Main Street in the Village of Boonville. The Criminal Investigation Unit charged Matthew R. Kratzenberg, 28, of Boonville for intentionally causing damage to the antique barber pole.

Kratzenberg was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, a class E Felony for intentionally causing damage in excess of $250. Kratzenberg was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Boonville Court at a later date.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Boonville Police Department and numerous calls from the general public that called in information after seeing the video that was released last week.
