Last evening, members of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office took their oath to “protect and serve” to a new level, trading in their handcuffs and badges for menus and serving trays at the “Law and Orders” event taking place at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill in New Hartford.

The fundraiser took place from 5 pm to 8 pm - to raise of awareness individuals with disabilities, as well as raising more than $1,300.00 to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics New York.

Thank you to the staff at Applebees, the Special Olympics Athletes, and especially to the customers who made their gracious donations!

Were you unable to attend but would still like to support these amazing athletes? Donations can be made at - https://support.specialolympics.org/a/new-york?ms=IDMP_EOY21_WEB&utm_source=web&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=IDMP_EOY21
