According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office has arrested James Simpson, a 40 year old man from Floyd for Grand Larceny 3rd, a class D Felony.

The Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol took a complaint on January 8th, 2023. Simpson was paid over $3000 for contracting work but never did any of the agreed work. The case was assigned to an investigator in the Criminal Investigations Unit.

The Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit was able to locate Simpson and arrest him without incident. Simpson was processed at the LEB and sent to OCJ to await CAP Court for arraignment.
