According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; An Illion man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic that occurred in the City of Rome

On March 31, 2023, Zachariah Johnson, 30, was arrested on charges related to a domestic incident that occurred on March 31, 2023.

Upon completion of the investigation, Johnson was arrested and charged for Aggravated Family Offense, a class E Felony, Stalking 3rd, a class A Misdemeanor, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, a class A Misdemeanor, and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, a class A Misdemeanor.

Johnson was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing, and will be held at the Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment.
