According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, A Verona man was arrested following an investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred in the Town of Verona.

On April 22nd, 2023 Deputies arrested Brent T. McDaniel, 34, for unlawful imprisonment 2nd degree a class A Misdemeanor, Harassment 2nd degree a Violation, and Menacing in the 3rd degree a class A Misdemeanor for a domestic incident that occurred on April 21st, 2023 in the Town of Verona. McDaniel was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing, and was held for arraignment.

An order of protection was requested on the victim's behalf.
