According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, three people were transported to a local Hospital following a two car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Old Poland Rd and Trenton Falls Rd in the Town of Trenton.

On May 10th, 2023, at around 1035 AM, Deputies responded and determined that Savana Sherwood, 31, of Poland was operating a Blue Toyota in a Western direction on Trenton Falls Rd T/Trenton. Sherwood failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Old Poland Rd and was struck on the driver's side door by the front end of a Black Honda operated by Jasmine Rodriguez, 21, of Remsen. Sherwood, Rodriguez, and her passenger, Nicholas Britten (21) of Schenectady, were transported to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Sherwood and Rodriguez were both issued traffic citations that are returnable to Trenton Town Court.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Starr Ambulance, Kuyahoora Ambulance, Barneveld Fire Department, and the New York State Police.
