Yesterday, Sergeant Avard and Deputy Eillers assisted with a mock DWI motor vehicle accident at the Holland Patent Central School District. This event was to show the students the dangers of intoxicated, impaired, or distracted driving.

Deputy Eilers participated by investigating the scene, conducting a mock field sobriety test, and “apprehending” the intoxicated driver.

Thank you to the students, staff, and volunteers that made this event a huge success.
