According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Boonville man was arrested following a domestic dispute. On 05/21/23, Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute on E. Schuyler Street in the Village of Boonville.

Subsequent to their investigation, Austin P. Loftus was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Mischief 4th, one count of Harassment 2nd, one count of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, one count of Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, and one count of Menacing 3rd.

Loftus was transported to Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing. Loftus was seen in CAP Court and was later released on his own recognizance.

Order of Protection for the victim were issued accordingly.
