According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a 16 year-old juvenile male, was injured following an ATV accident in the Town of Westmoreland.

On 5/23/2023 at about 6:30 pm, Deputies responded to the area of Old Oneida Road, in the Town of Westmoreland and determined that a 16 year old juvenile male, was operating an ATV in the backyard of his residence, when he hit a hole in the ground and was ejected over the handlebars of the ATV.

The Juvenile was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital, by Central Oneida County Ambulance, where he was treated for non life threatening injuries.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Westmoreland Fire Department, and COCVAC.
