According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; A Town of Camden man and woman were both arrested after an investigation into incidents that occurred in the Town of Florence.

During the early morning hours of May 28th, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to a domestic in progress complaint. While the Deputies were en route to the location, it was learned that another party had shown up at the residence and was on scene damaging property using a shovel. This property belonged to a party unrelated to the original domestic incident. Upon arrival, Deputies on scene arrested Jason Mcguinness, 18, and his mother, Laurie Bryson, 46, for charges related to these incidents.

Upon completion of the investigation into the domestic that had occurred, Jason Mcguinness was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Upon completion of the additional investigation, Laurie Bryson was also arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Laurie and Jason were both transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing. Upon completion of their booking/processing, Jason was held pending arraignment at the Oneida County Central Arraignment Court and Laurie was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Florence Court at a later date and time.
