This past weekend, the Sheriff’s Office was invited to be part of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Sylvan Beach Commissioning. The Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit has worked side by side with the Coast Guard Auxiliary for decades with the joint mission of keeping Oneida Lake boaters safe. Sheriff Maciol attended this ceremony along with several members of the Sheriff’s Marine Unit that included Sgt. Jay Sorrentino, Inv. Dave LaPlante, Deputy Dan Walts, and Deputy Gerald Villarreal.
