Today marked the final day for attendees of the 2023 Peace Officer Academy which had been held at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica for the past 8 weeks. Students were provided instruction in various disciplines including Professional communications, Persons in crisis, Opiod antagonist, Defensive tactics, Ethics and Professionalism, Use of force, Aerosol restraint and Firearms amongst several others.
