According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; A Syracuse man was arrested after an investigation into two domestics that occurred in the Town of Annsville.

On August 18, 2023, John Yelle, 34, was arrested on charges related to a domestic incident that occurred on August 17, 2023, and August 18, 2023. On August 18th while searching for Yelle on the order of protection violation from the 17th, Deputies found Yelle inside the residence hiding under a bed. This created a new domestic incident and order of protection violation arrest.

Upon completion of the investigation, Yelle was arrested and charged for two counts of Criminal Contempt 1st, A class D Felony, and two counts of Aggravated Family Offense, a class E Felony.

John Yelle was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing, and is being held at the Oneida County Jail on bail.
