According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; A Syracuse man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic that occurred in the Town of Whitestown.

On August 22, 2023, John Yelle, 34, was arrested on charges related to a domestic incident that occurred on August 20, 2023. On August 20th while incarcerated at the Oneida County Jail Yelle violated an Order of Protection by means of a phone call.

Upon completion of the investigation, Yelle was arrested and charged for Criminal Contempt 1st, A class E Felony, and Aggravated Family Offense, a class E Felony.

John Yelle is awaiting arraignment at Oneida County CAP Court.
