With a new school right around the corner, the Sheriff’s Office would like you to think before you share.

As you document your child's First Day of School with signs, remember to prioritize safety and be sure not to expose all of your child's information on social media. Remove or block out personal information to help keep your child safe:

❌ Child’s grade

❌ Child’s age

❌ School name/logo

❌ Teacher’s name

❌ Interests

❌ Avoid location tags

❌ Graduating class

❌ School bus number

❌ Front door/front porch pictures that show house number

No matter your privacy setting or friends, it’s best to keep personal information to a minimum.
