According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on 09/03/2023 at about 6:20PM, Patrol Deputies along with Woodgate Fire Dept responded to a residence on Rogers Rd in the Town of Forestport for a reported accidental shooting. It was reported that a male, who will not be identified at this time, had shot himself in his hand. The male is in stable condition and the injuries appear to be non life threatening. Deputies will have a police presence on scene while the incident is investigated.
