Sheriff’s Office Holds Corrections Officer Academy Graduation Ceremony
Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol is honored to announce the graduating class of the 2023 Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Officer Academy. The Corrections Academy consists of classroom learning, practical exercises, physical fitness training, and military drills.
As always, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office extends invitations to the neighboring counties that have officers in need of their basic training. This year’s 16 recruits are representing the Oneida, Herkimer, Madison and Lewis County Sheriff's Offices.
As part of the Ceremony, Sheriff Robert Maciol pins the badges on the Oneida County graduates, Undersheriff Scott Leskovar pins the Herkimer County graduates, Sheriff Todd Hood pins the Madison County graduates, and Lieutenant Tim Thayer pins the Lewis County graduates respectively.
