According to Sheriff Robert Maciol of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday September 25, 2023 at about 8:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a route 8 just north of the Village of Bridgewater for a motor vehicle accident. Route 8 southbound lane is currently closed. Traffic is being slowed down for the investigation. Please use caution in the area. More information will follow when it becomes available.
