Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol wishes to congratulate the latest class that attended the New York State Hunters Safety Course.

The class was taught in conjunction with members from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, the Inlet Police Department, and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation at the Old Forge Fire Department on September 30, 2023. All students, ranging from young teens to adults, passed the course and will be newly licensed hunters in the upcoming hunting season.

The Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the Inlet Police Department and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for their assistance with the course, the Old Forge Fire Department for the use of their facility, and the North Country Market/Sunoco in Thendara, NY, for donating lunch for the students.
